Starsiege is a mech-simulator game published by Dynamix in 1999. It is the sequel to the 1995 game EarthSiege 2. Set in 2829 the game tells the story of the third and final attack against humanity by the Cybrids, a mechnical race created by humans prior to the first EarthSiege.
Following the events of this game, humanity discovers a series of jump-gates which allow them to explore the rest of the galaxy, leading to the events in Starsiege: Tribes.
